  Pool Sessions
We have pool sessions once a week, a minibus will take you from campus to the pool and back. Pool sessions give people a chance to learn most of the strokes and techniques that they will need on the river. The most experienced members of the club guide the beginners through the basic paddle strokes, support strokes (that stop you from capsizing into the water), sculling and then rolling. More experienced paddlers can benefit from help with cartwheeling and other play boating moves. If you have not been to a pool session before you would be very welcome to come along at any time throughout the year.

After the pool session we go onto the pub for a quick drink before heading back to campus.
