Profiterolls, Pants, Pissheads and Pants at Preston Park

ON Saturday, the 28th of November, the Preston Park Hotel, Brighton was graced by the presence of societies bravest and most dangerous characters, this centuries greatest heroes and villains. This report comes to you from three heroines of the seventies, we're sweet, innocent, and work for a guy called Charlie, yup, Charlie's Angels, we were the ones brandishing guns all night. The event was also attended by a host of stars, including; Wonder Woman, Batman, Cruella De Ville, The Riddler, Bart Simpson, Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, The Ghostbusters, Tarzan, Jake the Peg, Angel Ali, Devilish Claire, Shuttle Bunny, The Grim Reaper, James Bond, Sherlock Holmes, Spider Woman, Braveheart, Cat Woman, The Lone Ranger, The Joker, Andreas the Pirate, chewbakka (but spelt correctly), Captain Pickard, Darleck, Darth Vader, Austin Powers, Cleopatra and MacBeth, among others.

The event kicked off to a roaring start, or so we hear 'cos we were late (we can't help it we're dappy girls). Shortly after our arrival, dinner was served (obviously they waited for us). This was scrummy, we ate all of ours (we thought we had better mention the food). Havoc was once again created whilst eating, Braveheart's pants took a twirl on the fan (the most action they saw all night) (well, we presume so, but we're not sure, we didn't monitor them all evening). However, Tarzan, unfortunately, (for us anyway) did not manage to keep track of his underwear for a large part of the evening. Whilst on the popular topic of underwear (or strictly, lack of it), Wonder Woman was happily twirling around the place, covering the bare essentials plus a few socks with her (or isn't it 'his') skimpy attire. Wonder Woman's magic touch did not work with a certain waitress who faced with public humiliation had to be rescued by Ali the Angel, and her harp. Apart from scaring this particular waitress, the motley crew shocked and intimidated the other staff.

After coffee the boogying commenced, interluded with a prize giving ceremony for the best dressed amongst the host of stars. The boogying was accompanied by the drinking of the typical amounts of alcohol which carried on for several hours, until the rather unsubtle staff put the lights on and turned the music off, the hint was taken and the party dispersed. On behalf of the attending we would like to thank; The Riddler and Tinker Bell for their efforts in making the evening a roaring success. Hope you all had a groovy, fab time and we'll see you at the next event on the social calendar.
